There is no secret of the obvious cooperation between EA and Microsoft with regard to the Xbox Onex. The development of the world's most powerful home gaming device seems easier than expected by EA's vice president, Patrick Soderlund, according to the latter.
Where he said:
I will be honest with you, the process of development on XxOx is relatively simple. Its engineering is relatively well known, because we work a lot on the PC. So, it was not difficult to work on it. We were originally surprised by the speed with which we can make things look good on it. There are obviously a few technical errors and things we always face, but overall, it took us about a week to run the games and make them look great.
Patrick continued to emphasize that the Anthem footage presented at the Microsoft conference was on Xbox LIVE.
He continued:
We are developing our games on the same engine, so if we transfer a game to the new device, we will do all the work basically.
The Xbox OneX will be launched on November 7th.
