Part of the brain makes fast food irresistible know him ..

When the piece show of donuts in front of us, it is impossible for us to resist, and likewise with the rest of the other junk food. Now, scientists have discovered part of the brain makes light meals and snacks look irresistible, they have also found the same part is responsible for stop people from indulging in those meals. In the future, the researchers hope to find ways to activate this part and made us refrain from gorging on these delicious meals.

Part of the brain makes fast food irresistible know him ..

A team from the University of Illinois at Chicago, trained rats to press a lever in order to obtain granulated sugar, and these rats stop pressing when you receive a certain signal. Scientists have explained, that the ability to stop the pressure depends on the activity in a brain region called the "frontal cortex frontal Central" (mPFC), a region associated with controlling behavior.

This indicates that this part of the brain plays a role in both types of control. When the activity was stopped temporarily mPFC using drugs, severely curtailed the ability of rats to press the lever. These results suggest that the activity of mPFC plays a crucial role in monitoring and controlling behavior.
To find out how to control the behavior mPFC, the researchers looked at another area of the brain that receive orders from mPFC region

This region, called the nucleus accumbens name (NAc), which is associated with a wide range of behaviors, such as nutrition, sex, and drug use. When the ban on communication between mPFC and the nucleus accumbens, the rats were unable to control their behavior in check when you receive the stop signal.
Said Dr. Jamie Roitman, prepared for this study from the University of Illinois at Chicago, she hoped that this discovery will help scientists find a way to stop eating reckless
